What Are Dental Implants ?
A Dental Implant is a surgical Prosthesis used to replace Missing Teeth which interfaces with jaws or skull to support the dental Prosthesis like Crowns, Dentures, Facial prosthesis and also as an Orthodontic Anchor.
What Is Implant Made Of ?
Mostly implant is made of Titanium alloy and Stainless steel due to its high resistance and excellent bio-compatibility. At Zaara Dentistry, we offer Implants made of Titanium alloy which is a Superior Quality done only by an Implantologist.
Why Choose Dental Implants ?
Preserving Jawbone Integrity: Dental implants prevent bone loss in the jaw, which typically occurs when teeth are missing. They stimulate the jawbone, preserving its strength and structure.
Enhanced Chewing and Speech: Unlike removable dentures, Dental implants allow for better chewing efficiency and natural speech.
Improved Aesthetics: Dental implants closely resemble natural teeth, restoring your smile to its former beauty.
Longevity: With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime, making them a cost-effective solution in the long run.
Is It Safe To Have Implants ?
Dental Implant placement is one of the safest procedures done at Zaara Dentistry, provided that the patient is not subjected to any kind of Systemic Diseases or Bone Pathologies. It stimulates natural bone formation and merges with it in-order to provide a strong anchor to the artificial teeth replacing the missing natural teeth.
Is There Any Age Limit For Implant Placement ?
Implant placement is done only after the complete jaw development which cannot be inserted for growing young patients (within 18years of age). We at Zaara dentistry have the most experienced Implantologist in Madurai to get you treated.
How Does Implant Differs From Bridge ?
When compared to a bridge, an Dental implant does not require the support of neighbour tooth. So it doesn’t require any preparation on the adjacent healthy tooth. Furthermore the implant gets strongly anchored to the jaw bone and provides excellent support and stability to the dental prosthesis.

Initially, a thorough evaluation of the patient is done which includes both systemic and intra-oral findings. If the findings are likely favourable, then implant placement is recommended. Adequate bone support is required for firm attachment of implant to the bone along with healthy gum tissues that are free of periodontal disease.
How Does Implant Merges With The Bone ?
This mechanism is called as Osseo-Integration. It is nothing but the direct structural and functional connection between the bone and the implant without any intervening of soft tissues.
Components:
1. Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Before the dental implant procedure, our skilled team at Zaara Dentistry will conduct a thorough examination of your oral health. This evaluation involves X-rays and 3D imaging to assess bone density and identify the optimal placement for the implants.
2. Implant Placement: Once the treatment plan is in place, the dental implant placement procedure will be scheduled. During this minimally invasive surgery, the titanium implants are precisely inserted into the jawbone.
3. Osseointegration: After the implants are placed, a process called osseointegration takes place. It involves the gradual fusion of the implants with the surrounding bone tissue, creating a stable foundation for the artificial teeth.
4. Restoration: After the healing period, our skilled prosthodontists at Zaara Dentistry will craft custom-made crowns, bridges, or dentures, which will be attached securely to the dental implants. The new teeth will be color-matched and shaped to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.

- The Occlusion of teeth, their jaw relation, TMJ condition and mouth opening are evaluated before the treatment.
- Clinically and radio-graphically, the anatomical defects, concavities and undercuts are all calculated.
- Intra-oral bone mapping is done to assess bone dimensions.
Radiographic Examination:
- Quantity, quality, location and volume of alveolar bone can be assessed with radiographs.
- Radiopaque markers are used to evaluate the relation of alveolar ridge to the existing bone
- The anatomy of vital structures like floor of nasal cavity, maxillary sinus, mandibular canal, mental foramen are precisely noted, so that no harm is done to them during the Dental Implant procedures.

After the healing phase, the permanent prosthesis is fitted over the coronal portion of the implant.
